At last no snow, ice or cold weather!!!

Saturday was a full day; one of my pictures was selected for exhibit with 21 others at Padows in Richmond on E main.  We had to deliver at 11:00 AM matted and the picture would be exhibited in 16 x 20 frame they provide.  The matting class I attended last year sure came in handy as it cost me only $8.00 vs $30+ for a framing store to mate for me.

After we returned I had planned to take the barn cat (Feebe) to a rabies clinic at the fire house held between 2 and 4 PM.  My cat and 100+ hunting dogs were in line for the $7:00 shot.   There were so many cars and trucks that they had to have traffic control for the lines on the Highway 13.

Today we attended the "Living Museum" presentation at BSH School.  Grades 3 through 6 participate.   Each student selects an individual from history or current times and must read a book about the selected individual and then give a "talk" about them to visitors who approach their station.

Michael selected Michael Jordan as his individual.

Will selection was Thomas Jefferson and he had Edna and me go to the local lumber yard and he selected "molding" that he could use to make his "frame" that he used in his presentation.  Will then cut the material, assembled the material and painted it himself.  I did supervise the use of the radial arm saw that he used for the miter cuts.  Edna observed his painting activity but he did it on his own.

We are planning a state park hike and birding tomorrow as the weather looks great.
