Wilbur is here!!

Edna was looking for a project and a feral black kitten showed up at our house. She starting feeding it, and then announced "we" needed to catch it so it could have shots and be neutered.  We starting feeding in the Have A Heart Trap and while I was out running errands Tuesday,  she called me "caught the kitten" and have a vet appointment for this afternoon.  Kitten is now living is a crate in the house and was named Wilbur. Next step is taming her new project.

Getting socialized after day at vet's

With Will's help we closed the pool Monday. Will is a big help with the chores we used to do ourselves. He finished stacking the pile of split wood behind the house. He did about a cord in 2 days.  Next week I have to split the rest of the wood to use in the upstairs fireplace.

Will found a baby box turtle in our driveway, and after showing me he returned it to the woods beside the driveway.

Abby is now driving and has a car so able to be at the barn more and ride her horse.

Elizabeth has a new horse and this is big change from her pony.

With the chestnuts dropping in the front yard and the persimmons in the side yard, we have from 4 to 8 deer ever morning. Drives the dogs nuts. Customer came one evening to pick up engraving and he could not believe they just kept eating as he walked by. This will change as Junior Day is next Saturday and both Will and Michael have their hunting stands set up in our woods.

Will and Michael have had several games this fall and I was able to take pictures at games they both won.  Will's team has won most the tournaments they have played in so far.

We had to take the motor home in for repair to the self levelers. This is the second time we have had to have work done on them. There are things we like about the Vista and things we do not, but I think the quality overall, Is not there. Our old Forster was far better built.
