A visitor for first time this year

Edna has been saying I need to get the Humming Bird feeder out.  So Friday I cleaned the feeder and made new sugar water. Sunday evening while Edna was watching the Yankees 

our first Humming Bird showed up.  No pictures as I was working on my blog from the horse show.  We have now seen him several times on the poinsettias that we wintered over from last year, but could not get any pictures. 

With the recent rain the dogwoods and redbuds are at their peak. This is picture from our balcony off the living room. 

Redbud along the road to the post office this morning. Did not notice the Canadian Goose until I got home. 

We walked the low lands this afternoon and there were lots of wild violets and small flowers. 

Edna's newest bird feeder, we now have 8 and soon will be a full time job to maintain.

An older gentleman, 89 years of age, was stopped by the police around 2 a.m. and was asked where he was going at that time of night .

The man replied, "I'm on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as smoking and staying out late."

The officer asked, "Really? Who's giving that lecture at this time of night?"
