August 21-Friday traveled all day. Interstate, city's and construction no fun. Best part was stopping at Maumee Bay State Park in Oregen Ohio. Beautiful path on Lake Erie. This is the fourth Great Lake have camped on this trip. So nice we decided to stay another day to take advantage of all it had to offer. Saturday we drove over to nature center and spent a couple hours on the nature trail. Tomorrow go to the nearby wildlife refuge and then starting home.
Sunday went to Ottawa NWR, what a fabulous place!! Solar panels provide 50%of its power and is heated and cooled are geothermal from pond. Center is three floors. A wonderful place. Next went to Maggie Maple State Refuge. We walked a boardwalk that was 3 miles and we were exhausted when we finished, and did not do all of offshoots. Spent the night at Salt Forks State Park. Drove for miles inside park to campground and office closed at 4PM so sign said pay tomorrow. Home tomorrow.
Great trip and Great memories !!
Thanks for stopping by
