Wednesday -August 19, off to Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Ask a the center if we could drive the "car" tour with the motorhome and was told "no problem". We found the road a little challenging, especially the 4 bridges. Edna had to get out and guide me across as we had only 6" space on each side.
Had to cross 4 of these
Sandhill cranes
Loons
At Last on more bridges
After the driving challenge we went on to White Fish Point which sticks out into Lake Superior with an extensive light house museum complex.
How clear the water is.
Spent the evening at Bay View NFS campground. Site right on the lake and so far north our cell phones were on a Canadian tower with roaming charges. Edna waded in Lake Superior and we had a fire in the evening and sat on the beach awaiting for a sunset.
View of sunset on Lake Superior from campsite
Campground was very primitive, even the campground host used solar panels for power. The best campsite we had during the trip.
Thanks for stopping by
