Smoked Turkey and Baked Beans

With all our rain the James crested at 14 foot.  I was at the Public Boat Landing 5 miles up river from us after river was back to 9 feet and you can see where water had been.  There was several river rescues when it was over 12 feet.  When river is over 5 feet wearing PFD mandatory and above 9 feet a permit is required to be on river.

Will working on a school project at our house.  Making a foot  to do with “trench foot” a disease during World War 1.. Can you tell he picked the topic?

Elizabeth learning to sew for her school project, she is making a Vejigante costume for Spanish 3.

I smoked a turkey and Edna made Bake Beans combined with corn on the cob and watermelon that was our Memorial Day Dinner.  Worked most of the day around the house and Edna is getting the pool closer to being open for swimming.

We are having our house sealed and stained, you can see the before and after comparison in this picture.
