Thursday and Friday without rain, I was able to get some outside work accomplished. Have finished the dry wall work in kitchen, now Edna will paint and then we will install flooring and chair rail. The kitchen renovation is going slow but getting done.
Rain has hampered Edna's work in her garden, however we are getting a great amount of produce because of the rain.
Looking forward to the opening of Wegmans Food Market in late May, have not had a decent grocery food store here since Ukrops sold to Giant Foods. They are family owned and are reported to be a Ukrops+ in service and selection. Edna was in one in Northern Virginia and said it was fabulous with a restaurant and a pub. I don,t know how she knew about the pub.
Today spent most of day at the horse show at Keswick. Mid 50's and rain most of the day. Luckily was able to stand under large tent and photograph Elizabeth's course. It was was not a nice day to be out side. 8 inches of rain this month and so far 2nd coldest on record. Glad we are headed to the beach in SC next week.
