Warmer is better

What a change in 10 days!

With improved weather Edna, Jill and Elizabeth have be able to start working Chuck again.

I am hopeful the loggers can finish in the next few weeks.

My new 70D camera finely arrived after several "storm" delays as UPS never did deliver it because of weather, so they said.  I had to cancel the order from B&HPHOTO and reorder from another vendor who would ship USPS and then I received in 3 days, guess the weather does not effect the post office, just UPS.  Now to learn to use it and get out and take some pictures.

I am getting some chicks as the critters in the woods had reduced my flock this winter.  However there  are also less critter in the woods this spring! Now need to set a trap by the bird feeders as something is getting into them.

NEWS FLASH:  Just learned from Dale that the farm next to us was listed today for sale at 2 million 250 thousand dollars. I think it has around 200 acres and is on the James River. Our loggers told us that they found new survey markers on the south side of our property, and Dale saw survey markers on the road frontage a couple days ago.

A few pictures from our porch room

Thanks for stopping by!
