It started on Valentine's Day!

Luckily we decided to have our Valentine's dinner Friday nite, because we lost power the next day for 35 hours. Power came back and then came the snow and cold

Lamb chops, baked potato, and vegs.   Barb & Reeder note the Herrick Red

Edna cooked pea soup Saturday nite on the wood stove, just like days of old Valentine's Day.

Baxter was out in the snow and dirt Sunday, everybody else wanted to stay indoors except Meastro who was "felling' good".

Started logging last week, they took out 6 log trucks, however

activity has come to a stop, maybe next week.

Kittens and Chuck liked to snow, one of the few!!

                                                            Our  "snow survival kit"

Received an e-mail that Heart Association need a photographer for the Go Red event as the scheduled photographer had an emergency and is not available. As I photograph some of their events, they ask if I could fill in, so last Friday I was in Richmond for the morning

Its cold when the James starts to freeze.

And here came a second snow storm, now have 18.5 inches on the ground in Powhatan.

Edna and Baxter enjoying the new snow
