Dog Days of Summer are here

We have had a string of high 90 days, and I am not doing much outside except enjoying the pool in early evening. Edna works in her garden early morning.  Speaking of garden, look what Will brought us from his garden. 

Phoebe has moved down to our house since the kittens were moved into the barn.  She sits on  our laps while we have a beer at the pool each evening.

Sugar Shack opened a shop on our side of the river, and after it had been open a few days, I thought I would go down and buy some donuts after noon when the shop would be slow.  Wrong, at 12:30 there were 30 people in line to buy and a the limited you could buy.  I ask if this was normal and was told they open at 6:30 and have a line until they closes, cannot keep up with the demand.

                                    They sure are good!!!
